How To Survive a Shooting

  • Every Day Is Survival Day
RSS Feed
Survive a Gunman: Keep alert If a student or co-worker threatens to bring a knife or a gun, for example, report it. You might prevent a disaster by doing so. Many schools and workplaces have "lockdown" procedures. An example of this could be that the students hide in the corner of their classroom, out of sight of doors and windows, while the teacher locks the door and turns off the lights. If you are in the halls, you might be expected to run inside the nearest classroom. Whatever it is, know what it is, and if there is no procedure in place, talk to a teacher or boss about creating one right away.Know and Respond to the sound of gunshots according to your situation: If you see the shooter at distance, running away should be your first plan, when possible. At 20 feet from the gunman, you're still within a deadly range, but at 40 feet, you're a difficult shot. If he starts to shoot as you're making your escape, run in a zigzag or another unpredictable pattern. This will decrease your chances of being hit. Seek an exit, or if you have to, hide in a room, preferably with windows, so you have a way of escaping the room if you have to. Lock or barricade the door and turn off the lights. If a door will not lock, barricade it with tables and chairs. You might want to do this anyway just in case. If there is a phone in the room, Call the emergency services (911/999/112) as soon as the door is locked and blocked. If you don't have time, call and leave the phone off the hook. The police will automatically come to see if there is a problem. If you are in the same area as the shooter, find cover, fast. If the shooter opens fire, attempt to take cover behind heavy furniture or any other heavy obstacle. If there is nothing close, simply drop to the floor and lie flat. This will protect your vital organs and make you a smaller target to the shooter. Lying flat could also make the shooter mistake you for dead. Remain quiet and still. * If the shooter is about to shoot you, do anything you can to stop them. Try talking to the shooter if you know them, but use caution. You could possibly change their mind, but remember, if they have a gun in their hand, they may not be convinced by anything.

Attacking an armed assailant is unwise unless you have absolutely no other option. They have likely already decided to shoot people, and threatening them may result in the deaths of you and even more around you. To take his focus off his or her weapon and plan of attack, you might throw chairs, laptops, or fire extinguishers, or set off the sprinkler system or fire alarm. Then, pick up a desk or some other shield and charge right at the shooter. There's a risk you'll be killed in the process, but if two or three people rush at once, there's also a chance that somebody will take the shooter down. Unarmed civilians who band together have a much better chance of surviving an attack. o If you're already within a step or two of the shooter, you might be able to grab his or her weapon. If the shooter is facing you, quickly reach up and take hold of the barrel, and then aim it away from your body. The move should be as clean and economical as possible. The gunman will reflexively pull the gun back away from you. Follow the movement, gripping the gun and push your weight forward. Then, punch him in the face or the throat as hard as you can. Hit him on the nose, jab your fingers into his eyes, or strike him with the heel of your open palm. Then use your free hand to grab the nonbusiness end of the gun. With two hands on the gun, you can knee the attacker in the groin. If you are barricaded in a room with other people, firmly order everyone to spread out as widely as possible, and get down on the floor behind furniture or any other cover. People have a natural tendency to huddle together in a crisis, but in a shooting situation, this just makes all of you one big, stationary target. Spreading out and getting down low makes everyone a more difficult target. If you hear gunshots and are in a bathroom, your best bet is to remain in the bathroom. Lock the bathroom door if you are able to. Another thing you can do is go into a stall, lock it, and crouch on the toilet seat to hide. Call the emergency services (911/999/112) if you have a phone on you, Go to EvadeAndSurvive.com for more

  1. For just $80-100.00, the best Survival Home Security System anywhere:
    .

www.EvadeAndSurvive.com has devised an very effective home security surveillence system that is easy to install, and very affordable. The system is intended to evade intruders and survive a possible attack from those outside attempting to get in your home.

The CCTV camera is from Harbor Freight and costs $29.00. The Camera Automatically adjusts from day to night vision for round-the-clock security. The camera is weatherproof and works in all climate conditions, including rain. The camera has a built-in microphone so one can perform other tasks while "keeping an ear out" for intruders.

The closed circuit design plugs into any TV or a dedicated security monitor with RCA audio and video jacks. The Camera Easy "plug and go" installation, includes all mounting hardware information.

The TV is SD (Standard Definition) and is a TV VCR combo for $39.00 available at Walmart. The Emerson TV has a 13" screen and is easy to place almost anywhere. With the Built-in video player, you simply pop in an 8 hour VHS tape (Cost $4.00 each), push the record button and there you have it. The ideal location is to point the camera toward your front entrance to your home. This way you can see who's knocking at the door before your or anyone else opens it.

The option for recording allows you to leave home, push the record button and record what happens when you are gone, You can point the camera in any location you feel is important to record. Record while at night so that you have a document in case you suspect a perpetrator. The camera installs with just a screwdriver, run the cord into the home through a vent through the attic or on the outside of the home stapling it to the wall. Plug in the camera at the same outlet at the TV. Since the cord is 50 feet in length, the TV can be placed anywhere.

This is perhaps the best $80-$100.00 one can spend for helping to ensure the safety and security of your family. Remember www.EvadeAndSurvive.com for other great family survival ideas.

  2. Is Your Bank Safe Deposit Box Really Safe? Safe Deposit Report Cards From David P. McGuinn, Safe Deposit Specialists Report Card Part 1 | Report Card Part 2 Reporting Anna Werner E-mail SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5)

Christine Riedell has banked with Wells Fargo for 20 years and maintained a safe deposit box at the bank's El Cerrito branch, she used the box to protect important documents and valuable items of jewelry, including pieces inherited from her mother. Riedell stashed 3 rings there, with "a total of about seven or eight carats of diamonds", she said. Even her wedding ring was in the box as of earlier this year. Or so she thought. In February she went back to the bank to pick up some items. But as she headed to the box that had held her goods, accompanied by a bank employee, she discovered the box was missing. "I just was in disbelief, I said…I said there's nothing there," she said.

The bank employee asked if that was the correct location of the box. "She said are you sure your box was down here?" Riedell recalled. "And I said 'Oh yes, my box has been here for twenty years.'" Riedell said someone had drilled out the locks and taken her valuables. Banks can arrange for a safe deposit box to be drilled open in certain circumstances; for instance, if keys are lost, or a client dies. But Riedell said Wells Fargo couldn't tell her what had happened to her box. "I was literally in shock," she said. After several weeks, she said an employee of Wells Fargo's legal department called to update the progress of the bank's investigation. The news wasn't good. "She says, 'We really don't know anything at this point,'" Riedell said The one thing the employee did know was something Riedell said wasn't news to her. "She said your box is gone, we can't find it", Riedell said.

Precious items vanishing from your safe deposit box, can that even happen? It might surprise you to learn that it can, and it does. That's something Tony Teng said he learned from his experience at a Bank of America branch in Oakland. His safe deposit box held a family treasure, a 27 carat sapphire brought back from Cambodia. But Teng said when he went to retrieve the pendant from his safe deposit box in May, it wasn't there. "I was in shock," Teng remembers. "So like, I keep looking and looking, hoping it's hiding somewhere in the box, but it's not there." Teng thought the bank would work with him to find the item or possibly even reimburse him for the loss. "I trust that if something were to happen to me, that they would take care of me because they are the bank," he said. But that's where Teng and other consumers get it wrong. Because it turns out, your safely-deposited items are not insured. So the bank won't pay you back for them if they disappear. "They need to be aware, whatever they put in that safe deposit box, if they want insurance on it they have to go out and get that insurance themselves," said expert McGuinn. Sure enough, Teng said, Bank of America officials told him the bank isn't responsible for his jewelry. Bank of America isn't responsible for the safety of your money either.

  3. Inorder to Evade digestive issues and promote baby health, Breastfeed. Mothers Breastmilk contains all the nutrients required by your newborn baby. It also contains non-nutritional components that may promote infant health, growth, and development, such as antimicrobial factors, digestive enzymes, hormones, trophic factors, and growth modulators.

www.EvadeAndSurvive.com learned nursing may also contain harmful components, such as pollutants, drugs, allergens, and viruses. Human milk has a unique composition, which differs from that of other mammals in its ingredients and their concentrations. Breastmilk composition is not constant and varies with stage of lactation, breastfeeding pattern, season, and parity. It also differs among individuals and among communities, Evade harmful substances so your child has a better chance of Survival.

For many infants, nutrient intake from breastmilk becomes insufficient after four to six months, yet breastmilk can continue to be a valuable nutrient source. Breastmilk is a complex fluid, rich in nutrients and in non-nutritional bioactive components. Nutritional and non-nutritional components Breastmilk contains all of the nutrients needed by the newborn baby during the first weeks of life. These include the metabolic fuels (fat, protein, carbohydrate), water, and the raw materials for tissue growth and development, such as fatty acids, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and trace elements. More than 98% of the fat in breastmilk is in the form of triglycerides, constructed within the mammary epithelial cell from medium- and long-chain fatty acids.

Comparatively high proportions of other long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids, are present. These long-chain fatty acids are constituents of brain and neural tissue and are needed in early life for mental and visual development . The lipid component of breastmilk is the transport vehicle for fat-soluble micronutrients such as prostaglandins and vitamins A, D, E, and K. Proteins account for approximately 75 % of the nitrogen-containing compounds in breastmilk. Non-protein nitrogen substances include urea, nucleotides, peptides, free amino acids, and DNA. The principal carbohydrate of human milk is lactose, a b-disaccharide manufactured in the mammary epithelial cell from glucose by a reaction involving a-lactalbumin.

Cows milks differ considerably in the structure of many of the milk fractions. For example, in cow's milk the major proteins are a-casein and , b-lactoglobulin; the ratio of casein to whey protein is 80:20; the casein micellar volume is double that of human milk, and the curd formed is hard. In addition, many of the non-nutritional factors found in human milk are absent from cow's milk or are present only in trace amounts. For the human baby, these differences affect the digestibility and absorption of nutrients, the bioavailability of micronutrients, and the potential benefits from non-nutritional factors.

In a survival situation Human milk the complex living, biological fluid, contains just the right amounts of nutrients, in the right proportions for your baby. It is processed gently through the baby’s digestive system so that these important nutrients are easily absorbed. Help your Baby Survive.

  4. Raise Goats for Survival

At Evade and Survive Goats are natures best friend when it comes to weed control and the reduction of hydro carbons. A goat can do what a mower can do and more.

With waist-high weeds in your yard, forget herbicides, or pulling the weeds by hand, how about sowing your wild goat. Goats are a super Survival tool. Goats Evade Dieseas and can survive off most any plant, weed tree etc. Goats are easy to raise, need little attention and can most often fend for themselves when it comes to their own survival. With a little water in their bucket, the goat can mow, chop and fertalize for hours on end.

As a pack animal, goats are great, they lead, follow and can carry a good deal of Survival Gear. Goats can warn of danger at night and can even defend their owners. Technically, goats don't graze; they browse. They'll eat brush, leaves, twigs, and other such food first, only turning to grass when there's nothing else left. Goats also don't munch each plant down to a nub and move on. They'll pick off the flower heads so the plant can't go to seed, and eat the leaves so it can't photosynthesize. But they'll leave the stalk, which holds the soil in place, preventing erosion. With only a bare stem left, the plant has to work overtime just to stay alive, giving native or more desirable plants a chance to grow. Learn more at http://www.EvadeAndSurvive.com/goats

Goats also poop a lot, and as they roam, their tough hooves stomp the pellets into the soil, fertilizing and helping to soften Colorado's hard clay. They also irrigate, a pint at a time, with nitrogen-tinged urine that helps balance the minerals in the soil. And, notably, they'll eat just about anything, including plants that are poisonous to other animals. Goats are the ultimate bio controll. Instead of chemicals Goats are a practice that has grown alongside organic farming, but it has yet to really explode into the mainstream. "A lot of it is force of habit," says Chad Brunette, senior horticulturalist at the Denver Botanic Gardens, who believes the goats are also a useful public relations tool. "Most people who have a huge weed problem would just spray Roundup. People are too busy to think sometimes." Brunette, who spent several years working with organic farmers, says his favorite biocontrol was a mobile chicken coop in Michigan. "This one old guy had a chicken coop on wheels that he would cart around to his fruit trees, and anywhere there were insects he would park that coop. He saved money on seed for the birds and the fruit trees suffered less damage." A push in the right direction.

Goats will eat poison hemlock, Canadian thistle, musk thistle, and spurge. It was tough to imagine the pasture being restored to prairie grass, but a goat herd it's possible. Some goats even climbed into the tree to munch. Meanwhile, others busied themselves on a big patches of thistle, as still more went to work on a tangle of shrubbery. An electric charge in simple strand fence can be used to thwart would-be escapees. Where to Buy Goats? GoatTipping.com helps Read more at http://www.EvadeAndSurvive.com/goats

  5. Winter squash is a warm-season vegetable that can be grown in most of the country. It differs from summer squash in that it is harvested and eaten in the mature fruit stage, when the seeds within have matured fully and the skin has hardened into a tough rind. When ripened to this stage, fruits of most varieties can be stored for use throughout the winter.

www.EvadeAndSurvive.com recommends Winter Squash as a perfect survival food due to its ability to grow in nearly any condition, with minimal effort. The plant has many benefits including a great food for humans as well as Honey Bees. The bush and semi-vining types can be grown in smaller gardens and can evade pests and survive the winter while providing lots of nutrients for the family in an emergency situation.

Cream of the Crop (hybrid - All America Selection winner; uniform white acorn type; creamy smooth, tasty flesh) Ebony (early; glossy dark green; flaky flesh texture) Swan White (OP-creamy white skin; pale yellow flesh; smooth, delicate, sweet flesh) Table Ace (hybrid-semi-bush; uniform, near black fruit; excellent, low-fiber flesh) Table Gold (OP-compact bush habit, attractive bright golden yellow, may also be harvested as summer squash when light yellow)
Spaghetti (C. Pepo) Orangetti (hybrid-semi-bush plant, orange version of spaghetti, high in carotene) Pasta (yellowish cream fruit, improved flavor) Stripetti (hybrid of Spaghetti and Delicata, great taste, stores better)
are just a few of the varieties that will grow in a emergency survival garden.

When to Plant Squash: The seeds do not germinate in cold soil well, and the seedlings may not survive a frost. Start plants in small pots indors before transplanting. Plant semi-vining varieties one inch deep (four or five seeds per hill) and thin to the best two plants per hill. Allow 8 feet between rows. Plant bush varieties one inch deep (1 or 2 seeds per foot of row) and thin to a single plant every three feet. Allow five feet between rows. Care Squash plants should be kept free from weeds by hoeing and shallow cultivation. Irrigate if an extended dry period occurs in early summer. Squash requires minimal care after the vines cover the ground. In 60-75 Days you will be eating tasty Squash.

Bees are necessary for pollinating squash and are killed by insecticides. If insecticides are used, they should be applied in late afternoon or early evening after the bees stop visiting blossoms for the day. Harvesting Winter squash can be harvested whenever the fruits have turned a deep, solid color and the rind is hard.

  6. Build a Survival Water Filter. A water filter for survival can be made with simple junk. A soda bottle, sole charcoal and some cotton balls. Filter your water once you boil it. The Charcoal removes things that boiling doesn't. Remember to Evade Disease and Survive, Learn survival skills like these.

The main ingredient in water filters is charcoal. You can either buy activated charcoal, or make your own. Never make it from food, like toast—that's carcinogenic. Never use charcoal briquettes—they are made from petroleum, and thus are poison (for cooking too). 'They' say that hardwood makes the best charcoal. Make a small fire from cut branches of dead hard wool, like a small camp fire being extremely careful not to burn anything but your wood. The 2-3 inch branches are best. Let burn until the wood breaks apart into glowing chunks of coals. Then stop the fire with your polluted water or what ever. Try hard to keep the charcoal clean as it will dry into nice chunks. Once cool and dry pound down the chunks into a nice powder.

Take your plastic bottle and cut in half. Stuff cotton as in the picture into the end of the mouthpiece of the plastic bottle. Pour 3 inches of your chopped ground charcoal and pack tightly, then fill 1-2 inches of cotton from gauze or cotton balls.

The bottom portion of the plastic bottle should have 3-4 poked holes in it, as this is where the dirty water flows. Now fit the bottom end into the top as the pic shows. Once tightly packed you have the perfect water filter. If possible, please boil the water for several mins and let cool before filtering. The boiling kills the micro organisms and the filtering with charcoal graps their dead bodies along with other inorganic elements and impurities. Let drain slow and repeat for clean drinking water.

You could put the charcoal into a coffee filter or something. I would boil the water, and then put it through the charcoal to get any microbes that can survive boiling. Charcoal works—it attracts all sorts of toxins / micro-bials. Boil the water to kill germs . Filter the boiled water to remove any contaminants . You can eat charcoal dry or you can mix it with water and drink a little here and there—all the time—not just when on vacation. If you're ever exposed to toxins / micro-bials, consume charcoal several times a day. Our ancestors used it until they discovered drugs (with all their destructive side effects).

  7. It shouldn't be much to ask to have clean water pouring from your faucets. yet, not many of us know what is in the water we drink. We know it's processed somewhere at our local water treatment plant, but what about the impurities that can collect in the water during the trip from the treatment plant to our homes? If bacteria or other impurities get in the water and then you ingest them by drinking the water you assume is safe? You can do something about your water purity and you don't have to spend a fortune doing it. There are ways you can make a homemade water filter and you can use some objects you probably already have around the house. When you prepare coffee in the morning, you fill the coffee maker up with water, you put the coffee in a filter and then you turn it on. Why do you use a filter? Well, for one, you use a filter so that you don't get a coffee cup full of coffee grounds but you also use it to get rid of impurities and other such substances that may be in the water or the coffee itself. You can fit a coffee filter over a pitcher, or even your kitchen faucet and you can pour the water through it into the pitcher, and then stick it in your refrigerator. When you're ready to drink, you have cold, fresh, clean water that you purified yourself using a homemade water filter. The trick is to look around your house for anything that might help you remove the impurities from your water.

Store bought water filters are great but why waste your money if you can make a homemade water filter? By using a little innovation and a lot of imagination, you can find a homemade water filter so that you can have fresh, clean drinking water and you can save your money that you would have wasted on a store bought filter. Just remember, that store bought filters are meant to last a long time, whereas a homemade water filter probably won't last more than one or two times. So, you could save money making a homemade water filter but if you're looking for quality and a brand name you can trust, your best bet is to spring for the store bought. Remember to Evade disease and Survive.

Strategies necessary for surviving an attack by a wild animal.

As the line between human and wild animal habitat becomes more and more blurred, the frequency with which dangerous confrontations occur is likely to increase. With a greater number of people recreating in the great outdoors and new subdivisions being developed in land once claimed by wild predators, the likelihood of an unnerving encounter is very real. Current news reports are filled with stories of wild animal attacks, and the number just seems to keep increasing. Short of becoming a hermit and staying indoors, there is no sure way to avoid such a confrontation but steps can be taken to ensure that the odds are in your favor should you find yourself face to face with a wild animal.

First of all, most wild animals do not consider human beings prey and thus are not likely to attack unless they feel threatened or otherwise provoked in some manner. It would be wise indeed to try to avoid any such unfriendly meetings in the first place by staying out of prime bear territory, avoiding areas where known mountain lion attacks have been known to occur, reporting aggressive dogs to the proper authorities before they can do any harm, and basically remaining vigilant and aware of your surroundings. If an encounter cannot be avoided, then quick rational thinking and strategies for survival must be employed.

Although greatly feared, bear attacks are actually quite uncommon. Bears generally seek to avoid humans, except to steal food, and thus the likelihood of a bear encounter is not all that great. First of all a distinction should be made between the grizzly bear and the less aggressive black bear. Grizzly attacks are both more ferocious and more common than black bear attacks. However, confrontations with all bears should be avoided at all costs. If you spot a bear, do not hang around and watch it. Chances are it will continue to go about its business and leave you alone. Increase your distance from the bear as quickly as possible without seeming obvious. Do not try to outrun the bear because the bear can and will run faster as it decides you have designated yourself potential prey. If the bear begins to follow you, separate yourself from any food items you may be carrying, and continue to walk quickly away. If the bear is clearly disinterested in the discarded food and continues to follow you, turn around and face the bear and place your hands out to your side or above your head to make yourself appear larger and more threatening.

If there is more than one person present, all members of the party should do the same in an effort to scare the bear. This is generally sufficient enough to make the curious bear leave, but if it doesn’t; and it becomes apparent that the bear has considered you a potential threat, then desperate measures call for desperate strategies. If the bear begins to run at you, lay down on the ground, cover your head and face with your hands, and play dead. The bear may sniff and paw at you and perhaps even roll your body on the ground, but as humans are not exactly appealing to a bear’s fish and berry diet, they are not likely to eat you. At worst, you may end up with a few bumps and bruises or a broken bone. On the other hand, if you fight back aggressively, the bear will follow its natural instinct to fight back and will probably win. Only physically fight a bear if you have exhausted every other option available and the bear is intent on having you for its next meal. Other means of escape include tall trees (though the bear may wait at the base of the tree indefinitely for you to come down) or a swift stream that you can outswim the bear in.

How to Survive a Mountain Lion Attack

Mountain lion attacks have been making the news headlines with increasing frequency lately. Not just children but a number of persons including hikers, cyclists, and even runners have been the victims of their vicious attacks. Unlike bears, most of the latest mountain lion attacks seem unprovoked, and may be a reaction to the recent encroachment of human development in their natural habitat. Whatever the cause, protecting yourself against a mountain lion attack is of paramount concern, especially in certain areas in the West.

If you find yourself the unfortunate victim of a mountain lion attack, fight back aggressively. Use every weapon in your personal arsenal to defend yourself. Sticks, clubs, large rocks, mace, pepper spray, and weapons all need to be employed against a mountain lion attack. It is important that you try to remain standing as you fend off the wild animal to protect your face, neck, and head, and to have better leverage over the animal. Also, scream for help if you are in a residential environment or an area where there are likely to be more people. Once an attack begins, nothing short of killing or grossly injuring this animal is likely to stop it. Mountain lions do consider human beings potential sources of food and will generally prey upon smaller, less defensive humans.

How to Survive an Attack by an Aggressive Dog

Again, avoidance is the surest way to ensure that an attack by an aggressive dog doesn’t occur, but if an attack cannot be avoided, quick thinking and aggressive measures must be implemented. If an aggressive dog confronts you, use a calm voice to let the animal know that you are not interested in a fight. Keep your body turned towards the dog and talk to him while slowly backing away. Remain tall and erect, and if at possible try to make your body appear bigger than it really is. As you are walking away, try to locate a stick to use as a possible weapon should the animal decide to attack. If the dog does lunge at you, remain standing while kicking the animal in the face. Your legs are better suited for defense as they are generally stronger than one’s arms. If you have a stick, deliver full, forceful blows to the animal’s face and ribs in an effort to weaken him. If there is a possibility for you to move to higher ground such as on a car, a raised platform, or a tree, then do so. Any leverage you have on the wild dog will work to your advantage and hopefully result in fewer injuries and an increased chance of survival.

  14. Survive Bullying. If you are being bullied, you have much to offer the world, the bully however is a low down piece of global turd who needs lots and lots of attention in order to mask their inadequacies in every physical and mental area of their lives. Bullying personalities can not be stopped, sounds harsh, but it is a fact and every good bullying In the movies the nerd gets bullied, then he does something great and the bully either ends up liking him or the nerd "gets him back" for the years of torment.

It works great in story telling but in reality bullying is often an unstoppable downward spiral for the victim unless the victim takes themselves out of the bully's environment. A bully is a person who is so acutely aware of their own inadequacies that they project those inadequacies (social, emotional, personal, interpersonal, behavioral, professional) onto others through intimidation, manipulation, nit-picking or unrelenting criticism of someone, depending on the situation. Simply put the only way the bully can make themselves feel and look good is by making others feel and look bad.

"I know someone at work/school/etc who is like that, but they are hard on me because they want me to do well!" Another myth. Bullying is so easily disguised as "tough love" or "tough dynamic management style" in the workplace but at it's core it is simply bullying. A good teacher, friend or boss at work will nurture your talents and promote a healthy work environment. Whereas "tough dynamic management" always results in low morale, poor productivity, poor customer service, high sickness absence, high staff turnover and frequent grievance and even legal action. If you have any apparent talent then it's even worse! There is nothing a bully hates more than someone who displays a talent for something, because when they compare themselves to you they hate what they see in themselves.

Some people with low self esteem hurt themselves, but bullies hurt others. "Why don't these victims just stand up for themselves?" Well, if you ever do muster up the courage to complain about a bully to a higher authority watch out! When brought before an authority (principal, manager etc) the bully is always the first to cry, a master of manipulation. The bully will say "Oh I had no idea!", "No one else complained about me!!", "I feel so bad!". They will use every trick in the bully book to once again make you out to be the "bad" one. And you just know that next time you see that bully he/she is gonna go ten times harder on you for "ratting on them"!

What CAN be done: STEP 1: Acknowledging that a bully cannot be beaten Accept now and save yourself in the present and future. STEP 2: Bullies have an incredible talent for knowing exactly what you don't like about yourself and bringing it to your and anyone present's attention. 3: Bullies can't touch life and life can't touch them. They can't share anything of real value with anyone and are incurable psychopaths! Remember to Survive Bullying, understand the 3 STEPS and know that if you are being bullied, you have much to offer the world, the bully however is a low down piece of global turd who need lots and lots of attention in order to mask their inadequacies in every physical and mental area of their lives. Hang in there Evade bullying and Survive.

Boric acid (borax and boron-containing salts) The active "killing" ingredient in many ant traps. Also known as sodium borate, sodium tetraborate, or disodium tetraborate, Borax it is a low-toxicity mineral with insecticidal, fungicidal, and herbicidal properties. Borax is effective in killing several types and species of insects including ants and roaches.

Borax Powder does not evaporate or volatilize into the air or pose the considerable health concerns associated with synthetic pesticides; it can still pose health hazards and should be used with care. As with any pesticide, keep boric acid pesticide products out of reach of children and only use it in locations where it will not come in contact with people or animals, such as in cracks and crevices, behind counters, and in baseboards.

While boric acid is somewhat slower acting than the synthetic pesticides, like chlorpyrifos, diazinon, or pyrethrins, it is highly effective over a long period of time. EPA has classified boric acid as a “Group E” carcinogen, indicating that it shows “evidence of noncarcinogenicity” for humans, yet little survivability for ants and roaches

An EPA assessment of a boric acid pilot pest control program conducted at the U.S. Army’s Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland found that boric acid was both more economical and more effective than monthly spray treatment. At least one study has shown that the combination of heat, 110 degree F for two hours with boric acid, will increase the speed at which the German cockroach is killed. Borax is a complex borate mineral that is found in playa lakes and other evaporite deposits. Most old mineral specimens of borax are chalky white due to a chemical reaction from dehydration. Borax is directly deposited in arid regions from the evaporation of water in intermittent lakes called playas. The playas form only during rainy seasons due to runoff from adjacent mountains. The runoff is rich in the element boron and is highly concentrated by evaporation in the arid climate. Eventually the concentration is so great that crystals of borax and other boron minerals form.

Boric acid was first registered as an insecticide in 1948 by the EPA for control of cockroaches, termites, fire ants, fleas, silverfish, and many other insects. How Borax kills is that It acts as a stomach poison affecting the insects' metabolism, and the dry powder is abrasive to the insects' exoskeleton

Borax can be purchased at Home Depot for about $9.00 per 16 oz. Mix 1 tablespoon of Borax powder with 15 table spoons of Corn Syurp. Place a blob on a small paper plate, staple another paper plate over the first so that ants can go in but dogs and cats cant lick the paste. Place several around the home and watch the ants go to town. This is the most economical and effective way to kill ants. Ants are good survivors but you can evade an infestation using this technique.
